India gifted 10 India-made ambulances to Malawi. The Gift of ambulances was handed over the Minister of Health and Population by the High Commissioner of India on 12 February 2020 at a Presentation Ceremony in Lilongwe

Today High Commissioner, Sh. Anurag Bhushan presented 10 Ambulances to Ministry of Health and Population, Government of Malawi.


During the visit of Sh. M. Venkaiah Naidu, Hon’ble Vice President of India to Malawi in November 2018, announcement was made to gift 10 ambulances to Government of Malawi.


These ambulances, manufactured in India by TATA were handed over to the Minister of Health and Population, Hon’ble Jappie Mhango, M.P. at a presentation ceremony at the Ministry of Health and Population in Lilongwe.


The Government of India is actively engaged in supporting Government of Malawi in achieving its developmental goals through development schemes, gifts and grants. Gifting Ambulances is another prominent milestone in furthering the warm and friendly relations between India and Malawi.
