Relaxation on Renewal of OCI cards has been further extended till 30 June 2021 to all eligible OCI card holders who are required to get their OCI cards re-issued [OCI cardholder registration is required each time a new passport is issued up to the age of 20 years and once after completing 50 years of age in view of biological changes in the face of the applicant].

2. It has also been decided that, such cardholders will be allowed to travel to India on the strength of their existing OCI card bearing old passport number subject to the condition that the OCI cardholder will have to travel along with both old and new passports.
