Visit of Hon’ble President of India to Malawi (17-19 October 2024)

Hon'ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu held a bilateral meeting with her counterpart Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of Malawi and discussed wide-range of issues of mutual interest. Both leaders also witnessed the signing and exchange of MoUs on Arts and Culture, Youth, Sports and pharmacopoeia. They also witnessed symbolic handing over of 1000 MT of rice and Bhabatron Cancer Treating Machine to Malawi. Earlier, Hon'ble President paid respects at the War Memorial and Kamuzu Mausoleum.
