Viksit Bharat Run, 28 September 2025

More than 250 participants from all walks of life from members of Indian Diaspora, friends of India and local community joined the #ViksitBharatRun2025 today organized by the High Commission of India, Lilongwe in city of Blantyre, Malawi.
High Commissioner H.E. Mr. Amararam Gujar along with the Chief Guest H.E. Mr. Dennis Stan Chinseu, CEO of Blantyre City Council and the Guest of Honour H.E. Prof. Macpherson Mallewa, Vice Chancellor of Kamuzu University of Health Sciences flagged off the Viksit Bharat Run. Dignitaries also planted saplings under the initiative of ‘Ek Ped Maa ke Naam’ before the Viksit Bharat Run event.
High Commissioner administered the pledge for Viksit Bharat and Aatmanirbhar Bharat to the participants of the event.
First three winners of the Run were given the medals and rest all the participants were given participation certificates.
