Celebration of ITEC Day 2025 - September 09,2025

High Commission of India in Lilongwe celebrated ITEC Day on 9 September 2025 with the active participation of more than 180 ITEC alumni (Civilians and Defence personnel). H.E Nancy Tembo (MP), Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Government of Malawi graced the occasion as Chief Guest and underscored the importance of ITEC and its contribution in skill development and capacity building. High Commissioner H.E. Mr. Amararam Gujar highlighted that India can be a reliable partner of Malawi for training its youth in diverse fields such as urban planning, cyber security, forensic science, banking, financing, accountancy, etc. ITEC alumni also shared their professional and personal experience and utilised this occasion to build stronger relationships with HCI and other alumni.
