The High Commission of India, Lilongwe, hereby informs that all Miscellaneous Consular Services (such as Power of Attorney, Attestation, Birth Certificate, Death Certificate, etc.) will be processed through the e-SEWA portal with immediate effect.

2. 2. Applicants are required to access the portal using the following link:
   https://indianconsularservices.mea.gov.in/consularServices/
   
3. 3. The detailed list of Miscellaneous Consular Services is provided in the Annexure attached.

Procedure for Submission of Applications

Step 1:
Applicants shall visit the above-mentioned website, apply for the required service, upload all necessary documents, and submit the application online.

Step 2:
The High Commission will verify the application based on the documents uploaded. The status of the application will be communicated through the portal.

•  In case of any discrepancy or objection, the same will be notified online.
•  Applicants must rectify the deficiencies and re-submit the application with the required documents.
•  The revised application will be re-examined, and the updated status will be communicated via the portal.

Step 3:
Upon approval of the application, applicants are required to visit the High Commission with the following:

• Printed copy of the online application form
• One set of photocopies of all uploaded documents
• Original documents for verification
• Prescribed fee in cash

Applications may be submitted between 0900 hrs and 1100 hrs on all working days.

Important Instructions

1. 1. Applicants must visit the High Commission only after receiving approval through the e-SEWA portal.
2. 2. No prior appointment is required for submission of applications.
