Recommended Candidates for ICCR Scholarship 2017-18

Subject: ICCR Scholarship – 2017-18

After scrutiny of applications according to the guidelines laid down by Indian Council of Cultural Relations (ICCR), the following candidates have been recommended, for 17 ICCR Scholarships, for the Academic session 2017-18, by the High Commission:

  1. For Undergraduate courses

Happy Banda, Christina Mazibuko, Nardin Kamba Junior, Moses Kaima, Shadreck Luwe, Frances Mbendera, Paul Kajumbo, Wongani Kaonga, Pius Moyo, Fanizo Hastings, Gomezgani Msiska, Timothi Kandidado and Blessings Kalulu.

  1. For Postgraduate courses

Leonard Mndala, Francis Masi, Darius Kondwani Luhanga, Rachel Pamela Mbeya, Felix Sanudi, Daniel Paul Kandion and James Mulinda

  1. For Ph.D courses

Felix Chicoh Kampaundi and Kondwani Msangosoko

The right of selection/admission vests with the University/Educational Institutes. The above list is not necessarily in order of merit and it includes 22 names which include 5 additional names as stand by, of which only 17 will be offered the scholarships. If any candidate opts out, then the scholarship will be transferred to the next student based on the merit list. The decision of the ICCR/University is final and no enquiry will be entertained.

The High Commission will contact with the selected candidates through email/phone for issue of gratis visa and air-tickets. Names of the selected candidates will be published on this website as and when they are known to the High Commission.
