The High Commission of India, Lilongwe hosted the three Malawi Defence Officers Major Chikondi Chalira, Captain Overton Gondwe and Captain Kissa Kadaluka nominated by the Republic of Malawi to attend a three week Training Programme being organized by the Centre for United Nations Peacekeeping (CUNPK) Course for African Partners on July 13, 2017. The training is to be held in New Delhi from 17 July to 04 August, 2017. The programme is being organised in coordination with the United States Global Peace Operation Peace Initiative (GPOI). Mr. Kalezi Zimba, Military Programms Manager and Ms. Katrina Washington, OSC Operations represented the United States Embassy in Lilongwe as the programme is being organised in coordination with the United States Government in India.
